The Transformation
Before the renovation, we found an old 250 m² residence in Argüelles, Madrid, with a compartmentalized layout and outdated installations, but abundant natural light.
We demolished the interior and redesigned the space for a young Cuban couple, creating a harmonious and contemporary home.
The décor combines designer furniture and artworks by Cuban artists, with a soft color palette that fosters a sense of calm. Natural light and carefully adapted artificial lighting enhance every corner, resulting in a home where everything flows with ease and pleasure.

This apartment is enjoyed by a young Cuban couple lovers of art, music, fine wine, and well-proportioned spaces.
As foreigners, they trusted the studio not only with the design of their home but also with accompanying them through the entire process: from finding the ideal neighborhood to defining every last detail.
They chose Argüelles for its tranquility, its natural light, and its proximity to Parque del Oeste a place from which they can walk to Justicia, Chamberí, or Salamanca, perfectly matching their way of experiencing the city: open, unhurried, and cultural.
They were looking for a home they could completely transform, adapted to a contemporary way of living: with a connected living room, dining room, and kitchen; a guest restroom; two guest bedrooms with a bathroom; and a master suite with a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom.
They were also searching for something more intangible: a home that felt balanced, where the main bedroom would catch the morning sun, and the common areas would be bathed in afternoon light.
Today, the house is a reflection of their lives.
They enjoy it reading by the window, cooking delicious meals, listening to music, or hosting long dinners with friends.
The lighting evolves with the rhythm of the day, softly transforming the atmosphere in tune with the life of the home.
